On one day in Ireland i decided that i was going to travel by buss for fun, they have like red busses with two floors. I went up on the second floor ofcourse! It was a great feeling to have the wind blowing in my hair and to see the city of Dublin from a higher perspective. The bus went all around town and i get too se alot of great buildings and statues and fountains.
I saw James Joyce statue for example, and i saw St. Patricks Cathedral and many other things.
I saw many more interresting buildings and statues. It was a great day with loads of sun. I'm really happy about my trip. Now it's time to go home again!
I really recommend to go and visit Ireland, It's a great country and it's really fun and exiting to be here!
Hope you enjoyed !
When i was in Ireland i visited a abandoned asylum. I love everything that is scary, so i thought it could be fun to go there and see if there where any strange things going on.
The hospital is called ''Our Lady's Hospital'' and it's a very big an old building.
It got shut down in 1989. Now it's abandoned and some say that it's haunted.
To come inside the building i just needed to check with the owners.
The building looked really scary from outside.
At the moment i walked in i had a bad feeling. It had a weard smell, like the smell of death. I started to go deeper in to the building and it got more scary. There where old wheelchairs in some of the corridors , suddenly one of them moved. I got really scared and ran to another hall. I came in to a room with three bathtubs, they where old and kind of brown. I heard a noise behind me, it sounded like someone opened an old door or something, i looked behind me and the door (that was closed before) had now opened. I got freeked out and walked fast out of the room in to another deparment, it was where the children stayed. An old baby carriage stood next to some small chairs, in the carriage there was a creepy little doll with no eyes. I thought i heard the noise of children playing, but i don't know if i imagined.
I turned around and at that moment a rockinghorse that was standing in the end of the hallway started to swing. My heart was beating so fast.
I heard footsteps comming from the other hallway, it was coming closer and closer but i coulden't move. Suddenly i heard a voice saying ''Are you done yet?'' And i realized that the steps had come from the caretaker. He followed me out and it was a big relief.
It was an exiting trip, but really scary :)
On my trip i was visiting a family in Dublin. They lived in a pretty big house in a little cute neighbourhood. The house was pretty normal, four bedrooms and three bathrooms, a kitchen. In the family there was Mom Mariah, Dad Josh, 13 years old Courtney and 16 years old Nicholas.
Mariah was a homewife. Josh worked on a factory pretty close to the house. Courtney went to school, she wear a school uniform with a tie and skirt. Josh went to high school.
The food they ate was a bit strange, it was alot of fat and strange things in it , for example the black and white pudding slices, It was pig blood in it... But it actually tasted kinda good.
On the weekends the children wa out ''playing'' with friends, and at the evening the family spent time together and watched tv and stuff like that. I'm very thankful to them for letting me visit them, i learned alot, even if they lived about the same as in sweden.
Hi! I'm going to write about my trip to Ireland. At the time i was in Ireland they celebrated St. Patrick's day, It's celebrated in the memory of the country's patron saint Patrick. It's a tradition to wear green clothes, and it symbolzes the holiday. Clover is also typical for the Holiday. On St. Patrick's day it's typical to eat Irish Stew or Bacon and Cabbage. It's also a tradition to colour the bear green. St Patricks Day is Irelands National Day.
It was a great experience to be a part of the lovely holiday, everyone whear green clothes and it was green decorations everywhere. I'ts a really happy day, you get to be with your family and friends, eat good Irish food, and you wear funny/cute clothes. If youre going to Ireland i really recommend to go as they celebrate St Patricks day, You will have a great time and if you have children they will think it's fun too.
Hope you enjoyed! /L
